Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of the ASEAN ministerial meetings in Manila on Tuesday, where the two leaders reviewed bilateral relations and discussed key regional and international developments.
According to details shared after the meeting, both sides discussed a range of issues of mutual interest and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening Pakistan-Russia cooperation.
The two foreign ministers also exchanged views on the evolving regional and global situation, with particular focus on cooperation within the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) and other multilateral forums.
The meeting underscored the importance both countries attach to maintaining regular high-level engagement and enhancing collaboration on issues of shared interest through regional and international organizations.
