Web Desk (MNN); Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodríguez have purchased two high-end villas at Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve located within Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea International development, according to media reports.
The villas are part of the exclusive Red Sea Residences and are situated on private islands around 26 kilometres from the mainland, accessible only by boat or seaplane.
Nujuma comprises 19 fully independent luxury villas designed to offer maximum privacy, exclusivity and a close connection with nature.
Ronaldo described the destination as “truly exceptional in every sense,” saying he and Georgina instantly connected with the island’s natural surroundings.
The couple acquired a three-bedroom villa for family stays along with a two-bedroom villa, making them among the earliest property owners at the resort. The properties are said to provide complete comfort and privacy during their visits.
Red Sea International CEO John Pagano said Ronaldo’s investment reflects the destination’s distinctive combination of luxury, nature, privacy and adventure.
Nujuma, along with other Red Sea and AMAALA destinations, operates entirely on renewable energy and aims to achieve a net positive environmental impact of 30 percent by 2040. The initiative includes restoring coral reefs, mangroves, seagrass beds and native ecosystems.
The Red Sea project currently hosts guests in nine luxury hotels, while Shura Island is preparing to open the first of 11 planned resorts, featuring a championship golf course, dining, shopping and cultural attractions.
Red Sea International Airport offers direct flights to Riyadh, Jeddah, Dubai, Doha and Milan, placing the destination within three hours of 250 million people and within eight hours of 85 percent of the global population.
Nujuma is being positioned as a discreet private retreat for celebrities and couples seeking luxury, privacy and a sustainable lifestyle close to nature.
