ISLAMABAD (MNN); The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) conducted a major raid in Islamabad’s Sector F-7/1 and arrested five individuals allegedly involved in an international human organ trafficking network.
According to sources, those detained include three Chinese nationals — Li Gang Lei, Wang Bao, and Pengfei Gao — along with two Pakistani citizens, Waqas Sarwar and Qaiser Hanif. The operation was carried out following intelligence reports regarding the alleged trafficking of human organs.
During the raid, FIA officials reportedly recovered various human organs from the premises. Sources further claimed that material suspected to be human flesh was also seized. The recovered items have been taken into custody and sent for forensic examination to determine their nature and origin.
Investigators believe the two Pakistani suspects were working with the Chinese nationals as drivers and were allegedly assisting the network in logistical operations and the supply chain linked to the suspected trafficking activities.
All five suspects have been shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation. FIA officials have launched a broader investigation and are searching for additional facilitators and accomplices who may be connected to the alleged transnational network.
