KARACHI (MNN); The Pakistan Navy extended a warm welcome to the People’s Liberation Army Navy Ship DAQING as it arrived to participate in the fourth edition of the bilateral exercise SEA GUARDIAN, scheduled from March 25 to April 2.
According to a press release from Inter-Services Public Relations, the ship received a ceremonial welcome and was escorted into port by Pakistan Navy ships with traditional naval honors.
The SEA GUARDIAN exercise aims to strengthen bilateral ties through the exchange of maritime expertise and enhanced interoperability between the two navies, highlighting their shared commitment to regional peace.
The exercise will include a range of harbor and sea-phase activities such as expert discussions, a young officers’ seminar on contemporary maritime topics, gunnery exercises, coordinated patrols, and other maritime security operations.
The SEA GUARDIAN series reflects the strong bond between Pakistan and China and their shared commitment to regional stability. It is expected to further enhance their strategic partnership and promote a secure maritime environment in the region.
