ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik held a meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, to discuss issues of mutual interest, with a focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, Malik congratulated the Saudi ambassador on the successful hosting of the Future Minerals Forum. Both sides agreed to broaden collaboration in the energy and minerals sectors.
He said the Future Minerals Forum held in Riyadh offered a valuable platform for deepening Pakistan–Saudi cooperation in the energy sector. He added that the strong brotherly ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia would translate into concrete outcomes, including investment, technology transfer, and joint ventures.
The Saudi ambassador appreciated Pakistan’s active participation in the Future Minerals Forum and emphasized that sustained engagement between the two countries was essential for further expanding cooperation in the minerals sector.
