Eligibility Criteria of US Fulbright Scholarship for Pakistani Students 2027:Pakistani citizens residing in Pakistan are eligible to apply.Applicants must have a strong academic record. Applicants must submit academic transcripts and required documents at the time of application (final degree may be submitted later if still studying). Applicants must have taken the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) before applying. Applicants must submit a Statement of Purpose (a research proposal is required mainly for PhD applicants).Master’s applicants must have a four-year Bachelor’s degree or a Bachelor’s + Master’s combination (16 years of education).PhD applicants must hold a Master’s, M.Phil., or equivalent degree (18 years of education) from an accredited university.
GRE and TOEFL Requirements for Fulbright Scholarship 2027: The GRE is mandatory for everyone, so make sure you take the test before you submit your application. You generally need a minimum score of 145 in both the Verbal and Quantitative sections. Keep in mind that your specific field matters: Engineering and Science students should focus on a strong Quantitative score, while Arts and Humanities students should prioritize the Verbal section. Don’t forget to enter the USEFP code (9388) and IIE code (2326) during the test to ensure your scores are sent to the right place. TOEFL (English Language Test)The good news is that the TOEFL is not required when you first apply, so you don’t need to worry about submitting those scores yet. There are only 30 slots available, so apply early with your official scores and attach a request to secure your reimbursement.
