ISLAMABAD- United Arab Emirates (UAE) President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Islamabad on Friday on his maiden official visit to Pakistan, undertaken at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He is accompanied by a high-level delegation.
According to Pakistan’s Foreign Office, this marks Sheikh Mohamed’s first official visit to the country since assuming office as UAE president. He had previously visited Pakistan on a private trip in January this year.
During the visit, President Al Nahyan is scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The two leaders will review the full spectrum of bilateral relations and exchange views on regional and international developments of mutual interest.
The Foreign Office said the visit presents an important opportunity to further strengthen the longstanding brotherly ties between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, reinforcing cooperation across political, economic, and strategic domains.
