ISLAMABAD (MNN); United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on Friday on an official visit, during which comprehensive discussions are expected on bilateral relations and regional security matters
Officials said all arrangements for the visit have been completed and the UAE president will be given a warm and ceremonial welcome upon arrival.
President Asif Ali Zardari will host Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed during his stay.
The talks will primarily focus on enhancing cooperation in economic development, trade, and investment, along with exploring new avenues for mutual collaboration.
Issues related to regional peace, stability, and defence cooperation will also be key components of the dialogue.
Officials described the visit as an important step toward further strengthening Pakistan-UAE relations and promoting shared regional objectives.
A joint communiqué is expected at the conclusion of the meetings, highlighting the current state of ties and outlining future areas of cooperation between the two countries.
