President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that Ukraine will conduct a presidential election promptly following the signing of a peace agreement aimed at ending the Russian invasion.
Speaking to reporters, including AFP, Zelenskyy said the latest US-Ukraine draft plan, which has been sent to Moscow, stipulates that āUkraine must hold elections as soon as possible after the agreement is signed.ā
