Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Badr Ahmed Mohamed Abdelatty, is arriving in Islamabad today (Saturday) for a two-day official visit at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
During the visit, Dr. Abdelatty will hold bilateral and delegation-level talks with the deputy prime minister. Both sides are expected to review the entire spectrum of Pakistan–Egypt relations and discuss regional and global developments, particularly the situation in Gaza. The visit underscores the deep-rooted and friendly ties between Pakistan and Egypt, founded on shared faith, cultural links, and common views on international issues.
Earlier this month, Deputy PM Dar held a telephone conversation with Dr. Abdelatty, who expressed condolences over the recent terrorist attacks in Pakistan. They also discussed Middle East developments and ongoing efforts to secure peace in Gaza. Deputy PM Dar also spoke with Oman’s Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi.
