European union have condemned the attack in Islamabad earlier today.
In a press release, European Union said that “We are deeply saddened and appalled by the tragic loss of lives in today’s terrorist attack in Islamabad. The EU unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms. Our thoughts are with the bereaved families, and we wish a swift recovery to all those injured.
Earlier today, suicide bomber has set off a blast outside a court building in Islamabad that has killed at least 12 people, according to Pakistan’s interior minister.At least 27 others were injured in the explosion on Tuesday near the entrance of the district court in the Pakistani capital, which is typically crowded with large numbers of people.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi told reporters a “suicide bomber”detonated explosives near a police vehicle outside the gates of the court.The attacker tried to “enter the court premises but, failing to do so, targeted a police vehicle”, he said.As officials investigated the scene in the immediate aftermath, no group had claimed responsibility.
