ASTANA: The Regional Ecological Summit 2026 officially began in Astana on Tuesday, bringing together leaders, international organizations, and environmental experts from 15 countries to discuss climate action and sustainable development across Central Asia.
Held under the theme “A Shared Vision for a Sustainable Future,” the three-day summit from April 22 to 24 aims to address pressing climate challenges, protect regional ecosystems, and promote the adoption of green technologies.
More than 300 companies and over 20,000 visitors are participating in the major environmental gathering, highlighting growing regional cooperation on ecological issues and sustainability initiatives.
The summit serves as a platform for dialogue on joint strategies to combat environmental threats, strengthen climate resilience, and encourage innovation in clean energy and green development.
Officials said the event reflects the region’s shared commitment to building a more sustainable future through collaboration and practical environmental solutions.
