Web Desk; From Copenhagen to Karachi, Danish logistics company Scan Group A/S is steadily expanding its global presence, with Pakistan emerging as a significant hub for its South Asian operations. The company currently operates three subsidiaries, providing world-class shipping and freight solutions in major cities including Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, and Sialkot.
The Trade Council at the Embassy of Denmark in Pakistan plays a crucial role in strengthening commercial relations between the two countries. Through its initiatives, Danish companies are being assisted in entering the Pakistani market, expanding their businesses, and exploring opportunities across a range of industries.
With the embassyâs support, Scan Group A/S recently obtained a license to operate a state-of-the-art, eco-friendly Container Freight Station (CFS) at Port Qasim in Karachi. This new facility is expected to enhance trade flows, streamline logistics, and significantly improve operational efficiency at one of Pakistanâs busiest ports.
Danish ChargĂ© dâAffaires a.i. Peter Emil Nielsen visited Shipco Transport Pakistan in Karachi â one of Scan Groupâs three subsidiaries in Pakistan â where he held meetings with the leadership team.
