The Ministry of Media has concluded the Bangladeshi Culture Days, held under the “Global Harmony 2” initiative in cooperation with the General Entertainment Authority.The four-day festival, held from Nov.
11 to 14 at Suwaidi Park, attracted more than half a million visitors and featured a wide range of cultural and artistic performances celebrating the strong ties between Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh.Part of the Vision 2030 Quality of Life Program, the event continued to draw large crowds with daily shows and interactive activities, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The closing day included musical and dance performances by Bangladeshi artists, highlighting both traditional and modern art forms. Visitors explored food stalls, handicrafts, jewelry exhibitions, clay molding, traditional attire, and bangle-making displays.Students from Bangladesh International School in Riyadh also captivated audiences with energetic performances, followed by presentations showcasing the richness of Bangladesh’s folk heritage.
This year’s program brought together 10 artists, nine bazaars, and 12 folk groups, offering live demonstrations of Bangladeshi music, dance, costumes, and cuisine. Additional attractions included circus acts, DJ performances, and cultural dances.“Global Harmony 2” runs for 49 days and highlights 14 global cultures.
The initiative continues on Saturday with Egyptian Culture Days, featuring three days of artistic and heritage performances by Egyptian artists and influencers.
