ISLAMABAD; The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, H.E. Reza Amiri Moghadam, has conveyed his warmest congratulations to the Government and people of Pakistan on the country’s 78th Independence Day, reaffirming Iran’s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties.
In a message issued on August 14, Ambassador Moghadam, speaking on behalf of himself, the Government, and the people of Iran, lauded Pakistan as a “friendly, neighbourly and brotherly country” and paid tribute to the resilience, unity, and achievements of its people.
“This day marks a moment of pride to celebrate the indefatigable and extraordinary resilience, unity, and remarkable achievements of the great nation of Pakistan,” he said.
Highlighting the deep bonds of friendship, mutual respect, and cooperation between the two nations, Moghadam noted that through the determination of both countries’ leadership and the efforts of all sectors, Iran-Pakistan relations have entered “a new era of hope and optimism,” marking a historic turning point in their all-round partnership.
He emphasised the shared vision of peace and prosperity that guides both nations, expressing hope for further progress in bilateral cooperation. “We wholeheartedly wish and pray for the continued prosperity, well-being, peace, progress, and stability of Pakistan, and for the enduring friendship between our two great nations to grow ever stronger,” the envoy stated.
As Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Moghadam reaffirmed his “unwavering commitment” to deepening ties for the mutual benefit of both peoples.
Concluding his message, he extended his heartfelt wishes to the people of Pakistan, saying, “It gives me great pleasure to wish you all a very happy 78th anniversary of Pakistan’s Independence Day.”
