Islamabad: Russian Ambassador to Pakistan Albert P. Khorev met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on February 6, during which both sides reviewed key areas of bilateral cooperation and regional concerns.
The meeting focused on the follow-up and implementation of decisions taken during the 10th Session of the PakistanāRussia Intergovernmental Commission held in Islamabad in November 2025, reflecting both countriesā intent to deepen economic, diplomatic, and strategic engagement.
Ambassador Khorev expressed heartfelt condolences over the loss of lives in the recent terrorist attack on a mosque in Islamabad, conveying Moscowās solidarity with the victims and their families.
Both Pakistan and Russia reaffirmed their shared commitment to countering terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, emphasizing the need for continued collaboration in security and stability efforts at regional and international levels.
