ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced the resumption of direct flights from Lahore to London, ending a six-year hiatus and signaling a major step in restoring its international network.
According to a PIA spokesperson, the inaugural Lahore–London flight, PK-757, will depart on “March 30”. All flights on this route will land at “Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 4”, a historic hub for the airline’s UK operations.
The relaunch is part of PIA’s broader plan to rebuild trust and connectivity with overseas Pakistanis. With Lahore joining Islamabad, which already has three weekly London flights starting “March 29”, PIA’s total UK flights will rise to “seven per week”, with plans to increase further based on passenger demand and operational capacity.
Officials highlighted that the Lahore–London service will especially benefit travelers from central Punjab, reflecting PIA’s phased return to key international destinations and its commitment to expanding its long-haul network as operations stabilize.
