The Embassy of France, alongside the French Development Agency (AFD), participated in the “Global Task Force on Social Protection for Nutrition in Islamabad.” The event offered a platform to connect with dedicated stakeholders, exchange best practices, and propose actionable solutions to enhance social protection for nutrition, recognized as both a human right and a driver of development.
Representing the Embassy, Deputy Head of Mission Jean-Charles Allard, and Marike Gleichmann, Project Team Leader at AFD, highlighted France’s ongoing commitment to food sovereignty and combating malnutrition.
