ISLAMABAD: The Chargée d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia to Pakistan, Ms. Dorsaf Maaroufi, participated in a luncheon hosted by the Chargée d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy to Pakistan, Ms. Natalie Baker, in Islamabad on Tuesday. The event was held in honor of Senator Sherry Rehman and was attended by female heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Pakistan.
During the luncheon, participants exchanged views on a range of regional and international issues of mutual interest. The discussion highlighted the importance of diplomatic cooperation, multilateral engagement, and dialogue among nations to address shared global challenges.
A significant focus of the gathering was women’s empowerment. The participants underscored the critical role of women in leadership, diplomacy, and decision-making processes, emphasizing that gender equality is essential for sustainable development, peace, and inclusive growth.
